Bible passage: 2 Corinthians 7:5-13

[Summary]
Repentance is not something negative that all the Christian should aviod. Rather, it must be a lifestyle of a Christian. As we grow our awareness of God's holiness and our sinfulness, our reaction to the gap is repentance. 
However, if we do not repent in a biblical way, we end up merely getting self-consolement from our guilty. 
What is the true repentance? It must be toward God, not ourselves. It is also motivated by genuine sorrow and should lie on our hearts. And it should help us look for Jesus Christ. It is not we that change ourselves, but God.
