1. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit
   1. Selfish ambition
      1. Greek meant "work for hire" and was related to "strife" as found in (Galatians 5:19-21)
   2. Conceit
      1. Greek meant "empty," "honor" or in essence "pride without basis/reason"
         
   3. How? (Philippians 2:6-7)
2. In humility ("humble or low" and "mind or understanding")
   
   1. Humility is not pleasant or optional
   2. Christ's example should inspire us, but sharing the humiliation is required
      
3. Count others more significant than yourselves (Romans 12:10)
   1. We love because he first loved us (1 John 4:19)
   2. Be a doer of the word and not only a hearer (James 1:19-22)
