      1. Moses and Joshua were 80 when they were first started leading
      2. They were still receiving training from God
2. Preparation takes time
   1. The harvest is much shorter than the preparation
   2. God works in His perfect time
   3. We may not reap or experience the harvest
      1. 400 years of slavery in Egypt, where people were slaves and never experienced the joy of freedom
3. Preparation is worship
   1. Glorify God through trusting in His plan
   2. Obedience is not a suggestion, but a requirement
